Congratulations Nick Mills- the winner of the 2019 Herb & Paro Memorial trophy in honour of Robert Herbert aka Herb and Brent Mathias aka Paro.
Alans beach was the call for the best waves on offer in Dunnos on Saturday. So off roared a dozen odd cars loaded full of surfers ranging from 14 yrs to 54yrs to have a surf for past friends / SCBRA members. The waves were very rideable in the 2/3ft range and peaked at low tide for the final.
It was another great day with a chilled out crew who were just keen to hang out, catch a few waves and share memories of these members who all died tragically, far too young. That night a few beers went down at the club with the Bob Turvey aka Boo Boo trophy up for grabs over the pool table with a knock out team comp. Thanks to all those that joined us on the day to honour these past members.
